Symbolism: the Yellow Rose
What Is the Meaning of the Yellow Rose…
My Revolutionary and Civil War studies all began as a child. My father would take us to points of historical significance such as Valley Forge, Gettysburg, Fort Stanwix, Charleston, and others. Layered on top of the travel was the research into generations of our family’s past by my Great Grandmother.
She spent decades uncovering our families ties to General George Washington, became a member of the NSDAR, a family biographer, and genealogist. I have inherited this passion and continued to forge ahead with the study of military conflicts starting with the Revolutionary War.
